He spent $14.40 to mail a package that weighed as much as a few sheets of paper and a CD-R. It was sent right at 9 am too. Why did NBC wait so long to break this news? Looks like they had enough time to examine all of the contents of the package, crop some photos, and put together a few video packages in time for the evening news.

Hello everyone. I am a student from Netherlands. Through Yahoo website i found out about what happened, and even though im not much of a news junkie, i tuned in every day to find out more. I've just read your "Moving on..." article and i just had to say that i fully agree with you. What happened happened. And that is the end of the story. So many people have their own frustrations but they dont pick up a gun to kill so many innocents. There is no more attention needed to be given to that looser. It will make him a winner by doing this. He will finally get the attention he would have wanted to have. The attention should go into the remembrance of those who to died. A tribute to those young beautiful intelligent students who's live stopped so abruptly. It will not help them come back to live, it will not help their family to smile again, but it will help us as a society to learn to ignore the sensational into a news story, and teach us to pay more attention to the human factor. If there would have been one shooter, and one single victim I personally would have build a statue for the one who died, and ignore the story of the criminal. The story is so hot for the news people due to the number of victims. And that is simply wrong. One or two or 32 victims it does not matter, all of them deserve our love, grief and prays. GOD BLESS them all, and give enough strength to the ones left behind to be able to MOVE ON.

As a mother of four sons, the oldest of which graduated from Radford in 2001 my heart breaks for your community. Your writing is extremely insiteful and wise. I just ordered a VT hat from your bookstore and intend to wear it proudly to show my support (even though we are Ohio State Alums!) You are amazing young people and my thoughts will be with you as you all move forward. Hang in there and believe in the future, yours will be bright, i can just tell
